On September 20th, 2023, the Digital Commerce Alliance is convening a Summit for member companies. Three topical and closely related issues will be addressed by keynote speakers, in roundtable discussions and with input from those in attendance.
DATA PORTABILITY, the principle that consumers should “own” their financial data and choose to use it for their benefit is a hot topic in the payments and fin-tech space today. Companies are crafting more tailored offers and programs for consumers by relying on increasingly diverse types of information. On the flip side is the subject of PRIVACY. The proliferation of payment, card and consumer data makes it more challenging than ever to keep sensitive information under consumer control. The “death of the cookie” and other shifts have also had an impact, significantly tilting the playing field in favor of consumer control over personal information. Finally,REGULATORS in the U.S. and the E.U. are making moves to protect consumers and keep them in control—while keeping free markets free.
DCA member companies are committed to crafting the best experiences for consumers – experiences that are tailored, trusted and easy. The September DCA Summit will bring together leading companies in digital commerce to share insights, strategies and best practices for creating the next generation of commerce. We invite you to be a part of this important commerce conversation.
